Tragedy for mother who faces losing her twin babies after suffering heart failure and giving birth to them in a coma following 30 minute-long delay in paramedics reaching her
Jocelyn Bennett, 27, pictured left, called 999 over stomach pains, but paramedics couldn't enter her home at Pleck House tower block in Birmingham, pictured below, for 30 minutes over problems in accessing the building. They found Ms Bennett on the floor and she was rushed to Birmingham Women's Hospital where she gave birth to Rose and Melody, pictured left and right, by emergency caesarean section. But the babies suffered multiple organ failure, and now Ms Bennett's family fear she will never meet the girls as their life support machines are due to be turned off today.
