Here to stay: Camerons plant ceramic poppy at the Tower Remembrance display in front of thousands after announcing emotive artwork will remain until the end of the month

The Prime Minister and his wife planted poppies at Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red on the eve of Remembrance Sunday as it was revealed sections of the artwork will remain until the end of November. Speaking of the attraction which is expected to drawn in four million people by November 12, the day after Armistice, Mr Cameron said he was he was glad the artwork, by artist Paul Cummins, will be 'saved for the nation'. Sections of the installation, The Wave and The Weeping Window, will remain at the Tower until the end of the month
